Mr. President,

     India warmly welcomes the delegation of El Salvador for the adoption of the UPR Working Group’s report on its 4th UPR, held on 20 January 2025.

2. ​ The review saw substantive participation with 74 delegations taking the floor and making a total of 228 recommendations. We appreciate the constructive engagement of the delegation of El Salvador during the entire review, which reflects their commitment to the UPR process.

3.​ India appreciates that as many as 150 recommendations have been accepted by El Salvador, including two out of three recommendations made by us.

4.​ While recommending the adoption of their UPR report, we congratulate the delegation of El Salvador on a successful review and wish them success in their efforts towards implementing the accepted recommendations.
