Statement by India under Agenda Item 6: Adoption of UPR Outcomes of Armenia at the 60th Session of Human Rights Council (8 September – 8 October 2025), Permanent Mission of India, Geneva, 26 September 2025

Mr. President,

India warmly welcomes the delegation of Armenia for the adoption of the UPR Working Group’s report on its 4th UPR, held on 1 May 2025.

2. ​ The review saw substantive participation with 98 delegations taking the floor and making a total of 274 recommendations. We appreciate the constructive engagement of the delegation of Armenia during the entire review, which reflects their commitment to the UPR process.

3.​ India appreciates that as many as 249 recommendations have been accepted by Armenia, including all three recommendations made by us.

4.​ While recommending the adoption of their UPR report, we congratulate the delegation of Armenia on a successful review and wish them success in their efforts towards implementing the accepted recommendations.
